True Story: how i became a weight loss coach...

Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, yesterday night visited Ekiti state teaching hospital where some students of the Ekiti state University ‎who survived a fatal accident that killed 8 of their colleagues, are being treated.

The accident occurred when the EKSU students' cab and an 18- passengers BUS collided along the NNPC-Iwokoro Ekiti State University yesterday evening. Speaking at the hospital, Fayose described the incident as unfortunate.
"I sympathize with them. It's unfortunate. It's not a good news. It's one too many. We are saddened We have to take solace in God. Reckless driving and overspending has cost us eight lives. And some others in intensive care unit. I just want to commit them into the hands of God because there is nothing to say for ow rather than to pray that God should console the families and the people of Ekiti state"he said.

PRE-SEASON PREPARATION

Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas both cited
last year’s pre-season as the beginning of the
problems.
The former Premier League champions drew
2-2 at home on the opening day against
Swansea City and things then went from bad
to worse until Mourinho was ultimately
sacked on December 17 with the club were
languishing one point above the relegation
zone.
Mourinho admitted that “clearly some bodies
didn't react as well as we expected” as he
shortened pre-season to three games, while
Costa confessed he was "overweight" amid a
squad almost entirely underwhelming for the
majority of the campaign.
Chelsea will play in six games this summer,
with another fixture soon to be announced, as
the players seek to learn from the mistakes of
last year.
SIGNINGSSIGNINGS

Chelsea are woefully light in the striking
department despite the recent signing of
Michy Batshuayi from Marseille.
The club decided not to take up the option to
sign either Alexandre Pato or Radamel Falcao,
while Loic Remy looks likely to leave after
being linked with a move to Turkey.
Alvaro Morata and Gonzalo Higuain are two
big names being linked with a move as the
Blues look to bolster their options.
Chelsea have been acting on Conte’s behalf
to sign players since he was formally
announced but business has been slow.
The Blues will need to find at least one new
centre-back and perhaps look for a midfielder
as they chase the signings of Radja
Nainggolan, N’Golo Kante and Axel Witsel.
CONTINUE WITH HAZARD'S REBIRTH

The 25-year-old is already showing signs that
he is back to his best having been Belgium’s
top performer at Euro 2016 after a decent end
of season in the Premier League.
He ended Tottenham's tilt at the Premier
League title with a stunning goal at Stamford
Bridge in a 2-2 comeback, while his solo goal
against Liverpool will also linger in the
memory.
The Belgian will undoubtedly be key if Chelsea
harbour any ambitions of silverware next

the league.
Hazard will, however, have to adapt to a new
system under Conte but he is a versatile
attacker who has shown he can play in
numerous positions.
ORGANISE THE DEFENCE

Chelsea last season conceded 21 more goals
than when they won the Premier League title
in 2014-15 as their defence crumbled time
and again.
Terry was mismanaged all season. The
captain was rushed back from injury which
only led to another, while a contract saga
hung heavy over his head throughout.
Branislav Ivanovic noticably lost at least a
yard of pace, while John Obi Mikel was
required to deputise in defence on multiple
occasions for the first time in his career.
As well as the issues posed by older players,
Conte has youngsters like Baba Rahman and
Matt Miazga who have yet to be given a
chance to convince.
It is likely the club will need to sign a top
defender with Terry expected to play a lesser
role, but he will no doubt show his influence
through leade

Fifa president Infantino to visit Nigeria

The world football governing body's supremo
will be in the country in the last week of July
alongside his secretary general
Fifa president Gianni Infantino and the
secretary general Fatma Samoura will be in
Nigeria on July 24, 2016, the Nigeria Football
Federation has announced.
The football administrator who was elected
Fifa president in February confirmed the
visit following a meeting with NFF President
Amaju Pinnick in Paris on Sunday.
“The FIFA President and Secretary General will
arrive in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja
on Sunday, 24th July on a two-day working
visit to Nigeria,” Pinnick told thenff.com.
The visit is an endorsement of Pinnick's NFF-
led administration as against Chris Giwa's
that is embroiled in a dispute over the running
of Nigeria's football governing body.
During the visit, Infantino and Samoura will
pay a courtesy call on President Muhammadu
Buhari in Abuja, hold meeting with a host of
African FA presidents who are expected in

REVEALED: What injured Ronaldo said to inspire Portugal to Euro 2016 glory

The Real Madrid star suffered an early injury
in the showpiece final but his team-mate has
revealed some rousing half-time words
Portugal full-back Cedric Soares revealed a
stricken Cristiano Ronaldo issued a rallying
call to his team-mates at half-time in the 1-0
Euro 2016 final win over France.

Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state has announced a N5million reward for any member of the public with credible information that may aid the arrest of the three gunmen responsible for the murder of Hon. Gideon Aremu, a member of the Oyo state House of Assembly.

This was disclosed in a statement made available by Yomi Layinka, the special adviser to the governor on communication and strategy, on Thursday, July 7.

A copy of the statement obtained by The Nation also shows that Governor Ajimobi has appealed to members of the public in possession of any useful information to immediately contact the following telephone numbers: 0802 343 1079, 0803 653 6581, with assurances that such tips would be treated in the utmost confidence.

Ajimobi promised members of the public that the police and other security agencies would not relent in their efforts at maintaining peace and orderliness, and assured the deceased family that a team of homicide officers were already working hard to apprehend the suspects.

Aremu represented Oorelope constituency in the House of Assembly until he was murdered on July 1 by three gunmen that allegedly trailed him on motorcycle.

A source said the gunmen trailed the lawmaker to his residence in Egbeda local government are of the state before pumping several bullets into his body.

Yunusa Dahiru, who is standing trial on five count charges of criminal abduction, sexual exploitation, illicit sex, and carnal knowledge of a minor, has been released on bail after six months in prison without fulfilling bail conditions. The case was adjourned till September 13.




A Federal High Court sitting in Yenagua, the capital of Bayelsa state granted him bail but due to the stringent conditions laid down by the court, Yunusa could not meet the conditions until last Friday.

"I have learnt my lessons. This case has taught me a lot of lessons and shaped my life. I would be cautious on how to relate with others in my future life.," he said in an interview with Daily Trust. "Though I was sent to prison but Muslims brothers from the north under the auspices of Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN) are always helping me. I thanked everybody that directly or indirectly assisted me in this case. I am the happiest person today because I am reuniting with my family after spending six months in prison. Though the case is not over but I am confident the truth would prevail." he added.

Yunusa's lawyer, Barrister Huwaila Muhammad Ibrahim, said, over 100 lawyers have volunteered to stand for Yunusa with Sheikh Alhaji Yunusa Usman (SAN) leading counsel.

"I never thought of defending men’s right as an activist but from the narration of Ese, I realized that there is need for me to come in and protect his right. We have been following the case up till this moment and we will continue following it until justice is prevailed."
